Little Bird

We have been letting Hazel watch music videos on you tube. One of her favorites is Little Bird by Elizabeth Mitchell where the kids dance around with bird wings. So we crafted up a set for her. This was her first flight with them.

And of course you can't expect a bird to fly without it's flock. Lucy and Andara, both have wings!

Ho Ho HO!

Ahhh, Christmas morning. Hazel was so excited to find that Santa ate the cookies she left for him and that his reindeer ate the carrot too. She also didn't miss the extra present under the tree that Santa left for her!

Clever Auntie Karen and Zoey...we have been having fun dressing up the lady at meal time...even if she doesn' t fall for it and eat up her food, we are having fun fixing up the plate!

Ho Ho Ho

Hazel was a good Santa's Helper, passing out presents to others. She was almost more excited to give them to Grammy and Auntie Donna than open her own....almost.

We entered the world of princesses! So Auntie Donna (0f course!) started her on her way with two beautiful dresses.

The wonderful chaos of cramming the family into our little house. Not enough words to express how great it was to have it under our roof. Just want more of it!!!

Silliness

Her new style of wearing her shirt.

Ahhh the fun she had with Grammy and Auntie Donna on Xmas eve while Mommy and Daddy were at work! She shares a fondness for peanut M & Ms like her Grammy and they enjoyed some together. Auntie Donna took this to prove to Hazel that her tongue really was blue!

Rockin around the Christmas Tree

Kept trying to get a picture of Hazel in front of the tree...thought might happen with Auntie Donna and Grammy joining her! That little one just doesn't stop moving!

Feeding Ducks

Had to get the Californians out in the cool, crisp Oregon air first day after arrival! Hazel wanted to go feed ducks so she took her Uncle Bob, Aunt Carol, Aunt Donna, and Grammy to the park. Had a short, but fun time playing before that called uncle!

Yes...She Ate a Carrot

It is our nightly dinner ritual with Hazel to have her "try" a veggie. This particular wet wintery night she took us up on it and actually ate one carrot circle! From that moment on she will tell you that "Carrots are my favorite vegetable".
