Now some would think that is a temperature. Some might wonder if it has to do with hours or days in a year. Nope. It is exactly how pregnant I am. In weeks. 37 weeks and 3 days.
I plan to go to 39.6.
You do the math.
15 days, just over two weeks, or eight shifts at work. However you want to look at it.
Soon.
My girlfriend from work convinced me to to do this so while I'm in the hospital I can keep my mom and sis and wonderful friends at home up to date. But most important, so I can show the amazing pictures of my beautiful and adorable baby.
So some interesting facts about my pregnancy.
I am loving it. (my friend says wait a few more days and you'll no longer be singing the I love being pregnant and want to stay that way for as long as possible song.)
I have not a single stretch mark on my belly. Only one little spider vein. Thanks mom and pop for the AWeSOME genes.
I have food ADD. I have been captivated by: frozen ding dongs, cupcakes, mexican sweet bread, cat paw butter cookies dipped in chocolate, malt balls, salmon melts, fried egg sandwiches, I fear this list could go on forever. (I eat all the sweets at the nursing stations, minus the heartburn causing chocolate.)
My baby belly has not been huge till just recently and I had worried that I was growing an itty bitty baby. I am recently reassured that she will be normal sized.
I survived a home remodel, mostly the adding of a newer, closer toilet. I LOVE IT!!! And the door to the toilet downstairs no longer opens into my dining room. Ahhh.
I had my belly painted with Henna, plan on having the foot pedicure of dreams (1.5 hours of massage and parafin for my feet!), a standing room only baby shower where my friend made me a quilt that she freehanded on her sewing machine words into the quilting. It is stunningly beautiful. I am proud to say that I have done step classes with a shocking regularity, using TWO risers. I am that hated super fit pregnant woman.
more to come.
