Even the Zuchinnis are Bigger

Found this zuch hiding today in the garden. It definitely outweighs Hazel!!

Feet in the Pacific

Loved walking in the Yachats River with her daddy.

Yippeee...first time feet in the Pacific Ocean! Brrrrrrr!!!!

Making sand castles and splashing.

More river walking.

Running on the beach.

And More Beach Sand

What else would a 16 month old be into at the beach???

Nope, she didn't do a face-plant...just kissing the sand. Must be from Jim's side!!

Beached whale...Hazel doing a little break dance routine in the sand.

Sandbox Fun

Little clip of Hazel playing in the beach sand. She had a blast.

Yachats...Beach Adventure 2009

Want some beach sand??? Hazel decided after her first mouthful that it wasn't as tasty as she thought it might be! But still fun to grab handfuls of and throw down!

Building a sand castle...well, sort of!

Dirt, glorious dirt.

Sun, beach, cool ocean breeze, and smell of salt in the air....ahhhh!

Wow.....tidepools rock!

Farm Day at Dart Creek Farm

Our friend, Kim, has a farm and invited us out to see the animals. Hazel was taking in the horses, dogs, and chickens. She was more interested in the other kids though!

Oxbow Park

We took advantage of a half day that we both had off and went to a nearby park along the Sandy River. Hazel had fun playing in the huge sandbox and then splashing in the water. Nice park, lots of trails and a campground.

Our little nature lover.

Sand, glorious sand!

Filling her bucket with treasures.

What a find...a twig.

Sundae in the Park

What better to do on a hot, hot Sunday afternoon during summer, than go hang out under the trees and eat sundaes in the park, listening to music and being with friends.

Hazel's new best friend, Robert. Our dear neighbor that let us hang with him and his better half, Sherry.
