Trapeze Class

Auntie Karen invited us to join her and Zoey at a class where Mom's and kids get to play with trapezes and fabrics-think Cirque du Soleil. Hazel loved it, especially swinging on the fabrics that hang from the high ceilings. Me, well, let's just say I better not leave the nursing gig.

Odds and Ends of Summer

Hard to see in this picture, but they all have on headbands. She was very careful to line them all up for the photo.

Giving her best tiger "ggrrrrrr"

Haze's first photo- she actually got me in the frame pretty darn well. I am being a tiger also.
Oh, and she painted my face.

We, or should I say, Hazel babysat her cousins the other night for a couple hours. Playing doctor is always fun. Poor Nate, he was getting poked and prodded from all directions.

Last Campout of Summer 2011

We went on one last campout before Jim started his new job at the end of August. We decided to do some posh camping (bathrooms with showers) and go to Fort Steven's on the north Oregon coast. We had good weather (by Oregon standards- note the fleece and long pants), lots of marshmallows, and sand dunes- Hazel's favorite!!

Love this pic of Hazel and her Daddy.

She's a Swim-a-holic

I know, she looks more ready to work for hazmat, than swimming. Swim mask and cap.
Every swimmer's necessity.

Can't go swimming in your room without your "little sister", Lucy.

Goggles, cap, suit...she's ready. I love her face in this picture...can't believe she is ours :-)

Practicing the back stroke, of course.

Teaching Lucy to swim.
