Mooooo

Hazel as a cow at the Tillamook Cheese Factory.

Pink ice cream cone. Her favorite part....the cone.

Sunny Day

Such the ham....

Hazel found a small hill in the dunes of the beach that gave us a nice warm, sheltered place to watch the waves.

Kite Flying

Manzanita Beach gets pretty windy in the afternoon so we took advantage and flew a kite. Hazel was so excited to do it, and still mustered some excitement up after discovering that she didn't get to fly up high in the sky with the kite.

Drawing on the Beach

Silly Snapshots

Toes in Sand

You forget how it feels to run your feet through beach sand and feel the grains move between your toes, beneath your feet and over the tops...that mixture of tickles, warmth, and softness.

Walk In the Water

Loves the squishy wet sand.

Getting closer to the water.

Ready for the waves to crash on her toes.

Ooops....Didn't get the picture of the "wave" knocking her over into the water, but did get the sadness afterward. We don't think she was upset about falling in the water, as much as she was about her Beatles shirt (as she puts it, "my favorite shirt to wear") and sassy jeans getting wet and sandy!

Manzanita Beach Babe

We took a little trip to Manzanita Beach this week. Hazel had a good time digging in the beach sand. All in all we had decent weather for it being the Northern Oregon coast. Some soaking showers, mist, wind, and sunshine too.

Sun, Strawberries, Cousins, and Mud

Hazel's shirt tells it all....juicy berries right off the vine are the best!!

JoJo is a picking machine!

So, Hazel wanted to go back to the wagon. Uncle Dave said he would go with her..."I got her, no problem!" A couple minutes later, I heard my name and this is what I found!! She was only upset about her boot getting lost for a moment in the mud puddle...otherwise she rode out her muddy-ness in style!

Riding back on the tractor. Gave a little time for Hazel's mud to dry. She was cracking up her Auntie Stacy by rubbing her muddy hands on JoJo's leg and laughing up a storm as JoJo complained about her dirty hands on her!!!

Proud of her dirty hands!! And look at those berries!!!!!!!

Last Rain Puddles???

Hazel had fun playing in the puddles on Thursday after a long day of non-stop rain. Will we miss them when they are gone??

Bye Bye Pancho

Our nightly walk was only complete with Pancho trailing behind.

The handsome boy!

Getting some "love" from Hazel!!

It broke our hearts, but we had to let Pancho go to heaven on Friday. His cancer tumors were growing so quickly and breaking open and weeping. He was beginning to slow down, but still wouldn't let us sneak out at night for the walk without him. We all miss him terribly. Our family and house is not the same.

Pigtails and Park

Auntie Rachel was visiting so Hazel finally let someone do her hair! So stinkin' cute with pig-tails!
