Happy Birthday Hazel !!!!!!!!!!!!!

We celebrated Hazel's birthday on Sunday with a little party. The birthday girl had fun with her cousins, so much that she was ready for her nap before the party was over!

After eating all the candies off her cake she decided to try the icing. She ate it all, leaving just the carrot cake (ahh, foiled again at my attempts to get vegetables down her, even disguised in cake form)!!!

The Hunt

Hazel did pretty well for herself on her first Egg Hunt. Nate and Jo Jo helped her by leaving the more obvious ones for her to grab up. They enjoyed it sooo much, they wanted Uncle Dave to hide them again.

Eggs!!!!!!!

Most of the dye came off her hands after a number of handwashings and a long bath. It was fun watching her color eggs, but boy was it hard to keep her from wanting to put the dye in her mouth. Anyone else had this problem?? When will the in-the-mouth-stage end???

Off to the Store

Hazel went around the house chatting about going shopping to buy tofu, rice milk, stawberries, as she carried her baskets and pushed her baby in the stroller. Had us laughing as she zipped around the house.

"Flop Flops"

Hazel wanted to wear her flop flops (aka flip flops) that her Uncles Billy and Tom sent her. Couldn't get her to uncurl her toes to get them on her very well. It was fun watching her walk. She would get a couple steps and have a blowout. But she made it to the end of the block in them!
