Visit to California

We started our visit to CA in LA to see Mimi and Uncles Billy and Tom!  Had a second Christmas with them.
Beautiful...only word for the weather!  We went to Santa Monica Pier and rode the ferris wheel and Hazel went on some other rides.  This was a cool bumper car one...we love the bumper cars!
Feet in the warm sand and warm sunshine on us!
Really, is it December??
Having a little breakfast at Mimi's favorite spot, Victors, around the corner from her house.

Sniff, sniff...our time in LA ended.  We had to say good-bye to Mimi and Uncles.  Hardest of all was saying bye to Daddy, who had to go back to Portland for work. We took the train to Santa Barbara to meet up with Grammy and Auntie Donna for the second part of our visit.

Us crazy girls celebrating New Year's Eve.  Hazel was firm on staying up until Midnight.  Sure, why not, we are on vacation!   She was asking, almost begging, to go to bed at 7:30pm!  This is the girl who doesn't like to go to bed before 8:30pm and then takes usually until 9pm to fall asleep.  We hurried and got all our party in, popper, fireworks, dancing and eating.

Auntie Donna's sweet friend, Julie, decorated their playhouse up as a Gingerbread house and hid surprises for Hazel in it.  We had a lovely visit with her.

We had to have an "Adventure Girls" outing.  We went to San Luis Obispo again to visit bubble Gum Ally and put some more chewed gum up.  This time we had to take her Gingerbread girl there and take  pictures for a school assignment. We met up with my friend, Rachel, and visited the Mission, and the creek.  Then to top it off, we stuffed our faces with made to order ice cream sandwiches.

Last day in CA.  Said good-bye to the sunshine at the Dinosaur caves park.

More New Years Eve.

Christmas Time 2013

Her Aunt Stacy and I couldn't get a picture of this trio without crazy faces, so we gave up.  Christmas Photo 2013.

Karaoke Christmas with the cousins.  Busting out Annie!
 Daddy got us matching necklaces.

Hazel went to a painting day and made this for her Daddy.  Guess who it is????

Heck, we live in Portland, the crafty wonderland of the NW!  Have to start them out early with the crafting.  Pixie Plus sewing machine!
Checking to see that the reindeer ate their snacks.  Yep, just carrot nibs!
Gingerbread house 2013!  Bigger and better.  Why...more candy!!
On Christmas day we demolished the house with help of the cousins!

Clothes closet for Mirabelle!  Thanks Grammy :-)

December, first part!

My Godparents sent us a package and this crazy singing Santa was in it.  Hazel loved it!!!
Sleepover with cousins.  These are the circus clowns performing.

 Ahhh, aren't they cute???!!
Decorating what had to be the BIGGEST cookie ever at the yogurt store cookie day!  And no, she didn't eat it all at one time.
Walking to school in our first snow of the year!

Our November

Helping Mommy blow out a most beautiful carrot cake that her and Daddy made.  It was Delicious!!!  And yes, she is wearing a bathing suit....

Sleep over Saturday with our friends, Karen and Zoey.  The girls snuggled up!

Oh, and this is our newest addition to the family, Nelly.  I am still not entirely sure how it happened (I am a true cat person), but somehow we came home with her after going to "just walk some dogs" that were up for adoption!   She is one years old and a chihuahua-terrier mix.  She is kinda cute, I guess.  The rest of the family loves her!

Hazel and Mommy had a "girls weekend" in Seattle with some of our favorite ladies...Karen, Zoey, Georgina, Ana and Ceci!   Sad for us, Karen and Zoey moved to Seattle.  So we had to go up and see them.  We took the girls up to the top of the Space Needle and down to Pikes Market.  It was a great trip!

Halloween 2013

Start of the season....pumpkin patching with the cousins!  Even though we had 7 of our own home grown pumpkins, couldn't miss the tradition of hunting for the perfect pumpkin with the cousins!
Trick or Treating with her bestie, Hazle Isabella!!
Her Kindergarten class all decked out in Halloween costumes for their "Boo Breakfast" party!

Our little Pippi!!!  We had a photo booth and each kiddo had their picture taken and then decorated a photo frame.  At end of the day they got to take home a picture of them in their costume!

Happy Birthday Daddy

Helping Daddy blow out all of the 48 candles!!
